Magda Kropacz is a Polish creator and originator of the sustainable combination of art and design.She specializes in creating analog collages and using second-cycle materials.

A graduate of both a Humanities and Economics University, I have been associated with the pharmaceutical industry for many years. Since 2020, I've been timidly pursuing my dreams of an artistic path. My main interest lies in creating analog collages and utilizing paper of various textures and colors, which I give new possibilities of artistic expression.

The pieces I create are not only unique works of art but also a manifesto of a sustainable approach to creation. I treat recycled materials as valuable treasures, giving them new life and meaning, striving to find beauty in seemingly forgotten objects.

The use of recycled materials becomes for me not only a means of artistic expression but also a way to convey important messages about sustainable living, recycling, and environmental responsibility.

It's an artistic revolution that encourages reflection on our consumption habits and inspires a creative approach to reality.

In my world, every object takes on new meaning, and the process of creation becomes a story of transformation and possibilities that lie within seemingly outdated things. I create, but also inspire to think about art and life in a more sustainable way.

In 2022 and 2023, I created my first collection of 13 works framed in hand-prepared frames made from reclaimed wood, which initiated the creation of a space called No_i_ssstyka. Another mini-collection of 5 objects appeared in early 2024.

Let's create not only interiors, but stories that will last.

Creating my analog collages is not just an artistic process for me, but a kind of trance. When I start, it's like entering a magical labyrinth filled with magazines, photos, and inspiration.

Browsing through pages, I cut out fragments that catch my eye, simultaneously constructing a unique narrative.

Each cut-out piece becomes the hero of its own story. Once I have my set of inspirations, I move on to arranging the collage. It's like assembling a puzzle, where each fragment has its place, forming  a cohesive whole.

Initially, I experiment with composition, and then, when each element is in its place, I use glue to permanently bind  everything together. Emotions are the foundation of my entire collection; each piece is different and tells a different story. For me, sustainable design and creation are crucial.

This thought constantly accompanies me in the background. My vision of art is based on the materials already available to us. I reach for paper and wood from second-hand sources to create a new story framed in a sustainable manner.
